CONTEXT
This framework is developed within ECOSYSTEM VLG World,
a Swiss non-profit ecosystem.
It applies to projects, documents, systems
and concepts developed within this structure.

INTRODUCTION
The ECOSYSTEM VLG World framework is a structured system
designed to organize the relationship between knowledge,
ownership, systems and their activation in real-world environments.
It is based on a fundamental distinction:
Access to knowledge may remain open,
but its ownership, usage and operational activation
must be governed, validated and traceable.
This framework does not replace existing intellectual property models.
It complements them by introducing governance
at the point of real-world impact.
LEGAL POSITIONING
This framework complements existing legal systems
and does not replace jurisdiction-specific legal requirements.
Its application may vary depending on context and use cases.
CORE PRINCIPLE
Open Access — Defined Ownership — Governed Activation
Knowledge can circulate freely.
Ownership remains defined.
Its deployment in real-world environments requires governance, validation and responsibility.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
The framework is structured around five complementary dimensions:
1. Licensing
Defines conditions of access, usage and reuse,
as well as rules applicable to activation.
2. Ownership & Copyrights (key addition)
Defines authorship, intellectual property
and attribution and protection conditions.
3. Governance
Ensures integrity, coherence and ethical alignment of implementations.
4. Processes
Includes structured components such as managerial processes,
creative processes, orchestration logics and system architectures.
5. Activation
Defines the transition from knowledge to real-world implementation,
subject to validation, responsibility and traceability.
GOVERNANCE STACK
The framework relies on a structured governance stack
designed to ensure integrity, coherence, traceability
and respect of ownership.
→ Explore the Governance Stack
PURPOSE
The framework addresses a key limitation of existing models:
the lack of governance at the point of activation.
It enables:
– open access to knowledge
– defined and protected ownership
– structured deployment conditions
– traceability of implementations
– ethical alignment
POSITIONING
The ECOSYSTEM VLG World framework is neither purely open source
nor purely proprietary.
It introduces a hybrid model where:
– access to knowledge is open
– ownership remains defined
– real-world activation is governed
This enables both knowledge dissemination
and responsible operational use.
